Greer was found as a stray in Irondequoit. She is a 6 year old,53 pound Hound/mix, who is a bit tentative at first, but was willing to come outside with me after she made up her mind to do so. She has had some surgery on her neck, so since I didn't have a harness to put on her, I padded the collar, and she was very good about not tugging. Once outside, I took her off leash and she checked out the yard. She is a dog who seems to march to her own drummer. Her legs are long, she has a cute white tip on her tail, and her coat right now is just a bit rough looking. Greer would do best in a home with children 14 or older. Greer is available in the Seniors-for-Seniors program where approved adopters, aged 60 or older, can bring her home at no fee.
